Born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia.
Moved to the United States at 19 with a dream.
Admitted at the New York Film Academy and graduated from the Filmmaking Conservatory Program.
Worked in all kind of productions and positions for more than 15 years.
Started writing in 2017, after attending Robert McKee's STORY seminar.
First film produced, La Suprema, obtained Colombia's postulation for Oscars and Goya Awards in 2025.
Still working on creating universal, memorable stories.

Andy believes in the transformative power of story. It's a belief that has driven his diverse career, from the intimate process of screenwriting to directing high-stakes commercial campaigns and developing international television shows.

The Feature Film That Changed Everything: Dive into La Suprema.
La Suprema, isn't just a passion project; it's a testament to the power of authentic storytelling. Selected by the Colombian Film Academy to represent the country at both the Academy Awards and Goya Awards 2025, it’s a story that truly resonated globally.

Having the opportunity to co-write it, and experience the process from paper to screen, enriched his career in many ways, and inspire him to motivate and support other creators with the same dreams and goals.

Beyond the Silver Screen: Commercial Storytelling:
His storytelling expertise quickly expanded beyond traditional film. As a director, he's had the privilege of bringing brands to life for diverse audiences across the US, Colombia, and Mexico. This includes directing a national TV spot for Lowe's in the United States, and helming branded content for popular TV shows like 'Bake Off Celebrity Mexico' and 'Bake Off Celebrity Colombia.

Television & Digital Innovation:
His work in television includes writing and directing 'Adóptame,' a full TV show for Warner and Discovery Channel in Mexico. This experience honed his ability to create compelling long-form content, manage complex productions, and adapt stories for various platforms and demographics. He's also produced numerous music videos, short films, and other digital content, always pushing the boundaries of visual narrative.

The Entrepreneurial Spirit & Tech Insight:
While my formal background is in filmmaking, my practical education extends deeply into the world of online business and technology. Alongside my brother, a senior software engineer, I've founded and learned from multiple online ventures. This hands-on experience has given me a foundational understanding of digital strategy, online monetization, and leveraging technology (including AI) to build and scale businesses.
